Having access to information while screening on the field is vital but so is having that information in the most accurate way possible. In this class you will be introduced to the most advanced field screening tools on the market today. We will also explore the importance of laboratory confirmation of the information gathered in the field and the methods used in confirming that data.

Will Elcoate, National Air Account Manager for Alpha Analytical, has over 30 years of experience in the environmental laboratory industry with experience in every aspect of laboratory operations and meeting client and regulator expectations. With a background in laboratory operations, and experience in project managing large EPA & Federal programs, understanding the need to balance programmatic compliance, data usability and cost for the past 9 years he has been focused on air, vapor and soil gas testing with the increased attention on indoor air quality for vapor intrusion and ambient air emissions.

Brian Bendis has more than twenty years of professional experience in the Florida environmental sector and has lived in Tampa since 1990. He has B.S. in Marine Science from Jacksonville University and an M.S. degree from the University of South Florida College of Marine Science. He worked for nearly ten years at the Florida Marine Research Institute (FL Fish & Wildlife Comm.), where his work included implementing remote, autonomous water quality monitors for use in estuarine studies. Brian has also worked in the private sector as a manufacturer’s rep as well as in the consulting world performing Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) duties in response to the Deepwater Horizon tragedy in the Gulf of Mexico. Brian has been the Technical Sales Representative for Pine Environmental in Florida since 2013. He is responsible for revenue generation and business development for Pine as well as providing technical assistance and training to customers throughout the territory.
